Ryanair 2014 calendar £85k charity cash up for grabs

Ryanair 2014 Calendar

Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary is always taking stick for getting cash out of passengers one way or another. But this time all the proceeds from his annual Ryanair 2014 calendar with pics of  cabin crew will go to a charity – and if you run one, get applying now.

The airline has launched a search for a charity partner to receive the entire proceeds from the Ryanair 2014 Cabin Crew Charity Calendar  that features at least 12 cabin crew shot on sizzling Crete. Sales of the calendar have raised more than €600,000 (around £500,000) for worthy causes in Germany, Ireland, Poland and the UK, with another €100,000 up for grabs this year.

Charities interested in partnering Ryanair this year should submit an application letter and Powerpoint presentation (in English and limited to 10 slides) explaining why they should be selected by cabin crew to become the partner and how they will spend the funds, to [email protected] before 5pm on Wednesday July 31.

Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: “Ryanair’s stunning cabin crew are just back from the beaches of Crete having once again stripped-off to raise much needed funds for charity and having raised over €600,000 in six years for some great causes, including Angels Quest, Dublin Simon Community, KIDS, De Tafel, Debra Ireland and the TVN Foundation, we expect to raise a further €100,000 for another great charity this year.”
